My apologies

I'm sorry for not posting that much recently. As you may have seen I have stopped with my quote of the weeks posts. Maybe someday they'll return. I'm really busy right now and I'm going to try to write a post as much as I can, but with the exams coming I don't know if I'll be able to do my 3 posts a week.

Warm Bodies

Has anyone seen Warm bodies? I think that for a movie meant for teens it's a very good movie. It's got more depth in it than most popular teen movies (like twilight and beautiful creatures). It's a comedy that's actually funny and not shallow. There are voice-overs the entire movie. You hear the thoughts of the main character "R" at least he thinks that his name started with that letter. But these voice overs are great and not annoying at all. In fact they're funny. They're the funniest part of the movie (not concluding my best friends comments. When the girl ran away she said "she went to get some coffee" hilarious) I really liked Nicholas Hoult (who played R. You can see him in the picture below) This guy used to be in a relationship with Jennifer Lawrence (who plays Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games). And he also plays in Jack the Giant Slayer, which I'm very exited to see.
Anyway this is a good movie and you should go watch it right away! Leave a comment to tell me what YOU think!

Disneyland

I don't know if I've told you guys yet, tomorrow I'm going to Disneyland Paris. And I'm way to exited to write a decent blog post. I'm going with my mother, my sister, my best friend and my boyfriend. I've got some money to buy some stuff there. I'll probably buy slippers there. And with slippers I mean the kind you see below. My mom needs me in the kitchen now. Bye

The Host

When I was like 13 I read this book, and I loved it. And I still love what I remember of it. I always wanted it to be a movie and next week it'll be time.
The movie will be in cinema's the 18th. I'm so exited, and I just can't hide it! I'm really exited to see the movie, and I'm planning on reading the book again. If you haven't read the book yet run to the store and but it right now. I know it's based on a book by Stephenie Meyer, and that she wrote twilight, but this isn't twilight at all. It's like comparing apples to pears. It's so much better, it's way less shallow, and she's made an entirely different world for the "aliens" or whatever they're called. Anyways you should read the book and go see the movie because it's totally worth it!
It's about a girl named Melanie who is "possesed" by another soul called Wanderer, and Melanie convinces Wanderer to escape civilization and go in the desert to find Jared (the man she loves) and her brother Jamie. (at least that's how I remember it) After they get there they're not welcomed very nicely. I'm not going to spoil the rest of the story to you guys. Go discover it yourselves!

Public transport and I not a very good combination

I wanted to go to the cinema with my boyfriend, and my mom didn't have time to take us there, so decided to go by train and metro. Well... I have to admit that it didn't exactly go this way. It couldn't have been worse.

So we had to take the train at 17:45 and 10 minutes later we had to be in Brussels. We missed the train and we had to take another train that took 25 minutes to get there. That made us miss our metro, so we had to wait like 15 minutes for the next one.
Then it turned out that we had been waiting for a tram line instead of a metro one. I told my boyfriend not to get in, that we had to take a metro, but he got him anyway, and I had no choice so I had to follow him. I don't have to tell you that we arrived 1 hour later at the cinema and missed our movie.
Don't worry it'll get worse.
So we picked another one which was very boring and longer, so we had no chance of getting a train home. We were stuck there. We had no money left for a taxi, so I had to call my mom. It was so cold outside. It was after midnight when we got home, and we left at 17:30.
I'm never getting to a late movie again.

How to display your computer display on your TV.

Note: this is with windows 7 and a VGA cable like you see in the picture above. A cable like this costs about €25 (Sound doesn't work with me, so I still have to figure it out, when it's fixed I'll let you know)

Step 1: plug your VGA cable into your laptop/PC to your TV
Step 2: Click on start/control panel
Write in the 'search' box "connect to an external dislay" click on the link with the same name.
Step 3: Click on detect and choose the connected display you want to use.
Step 4: Now click "ok" and the problem is fixed
